Thought Bubble
A thought bubble is a cloud-shaped balloon showing what a character is thinking, connected to them by a trail of small circles.
Thought bubbles let readers inside a character's head without dialogue. They've fallen out of favor in modern indie comics in favor of italic captions, but vintage Silver Age comics use them constantly — perfect for showing a kid hero's inner monologue.
