Comic Glossary
Splash Page
A splash page is a single comic page filled with one large illustration, used for dramatic openings or major reveals.
Splash pages stop time — the reader has to slow down and absorb the whole image. Most comic books open with one. QuickComic's covers function as a splash page introducing your child as the hero.
